A ketogenic (keto) diet reduces the amount of carbs you eat so that your body gets its energy from fat instead of carbs. How do I make Keto Chow?

Add your Keto Chow to your chosen fat source, pour in 1¾ - 2 cups of water, and shake well. Let it chill for about 20 minutes for the best taste (but it’s perfectly fine to drink right away if you’re in a hurry). Just sip and go!

What fat source should I add to my Keto Chow?

It’s totally up to you! Keto Chow is easy to customize. Popular fat options include heavy cream, butter, or avocado oil. The amount depends on your macros, and specific needs / preferences.

Can I use Keto Chow if I’m lactose intolerant? Any alternatives to heavy cream?

Many people who have problems with lactose are able to handle the relatively small amounts in Keto Chow without problems, or by using a lactase enzyme supplement. In terms of what fat to add to your shake, heavy cream is relatively low in lactose per calorie, but you can also add butter, clarified butter, coconut oil, coconut cream, or avocado oil. You may also choose to add a small amount of MCT oil to another fat source, but we don’t recommend having it as your only fat source in your shake.
